Interact for Health provides sponsorships to support organizations within Greater Cincinnati with funding beyond our grantmaking work. Sponsorships are a competitive process, and funding is limited. We prioritize sponsoring events that serve our priority populations, align with our strategic plan, and benefit (and are located in) our 20-county service area.
In general, sponsorship opportunities are meant to benefit organizations that are not current grantees of Interact for Health. Event sponsorship funds may not be used retroactively.
Organizations do not need to be 501(c)3 public charities to be eligible for event sponsorships. However, the purpose of the sponsored event must be charitable in nature (see IRS definition).
An organization may apply for sponsorship with a minimum of $1,000 and a maximum of $5,000 per year. The average funding amount in 2025 was $2,100.
Organizations may receive sponsorship once per calendar year, with some exceptions.
Submissions are reviewed by a committee monthly, and decisions will be made within two weeks of each deadline. Please apply for funding two months prior to the event.
Applications will close on the last day of each month. Applicants will be notified of their funding decision by the 15th of the following month. The final deadline for 2026 funding is October 31.
