Interact for Health sponsors events that take place in our region and preference will be given to those events showing a substantial benefit to our service area and strategy. Discretion will be applied to local and national associations in which Interact for Health is a member and to local and national organizations in which Interact for Health staff serve on the board.
Event sponsorship funds may not be used retroactively.
Organizations do not need to be 501 (c) public charities to be eligible for event sponsorships. However, the purpose of the sponsored event must be charitable in nature (see IRS definition).
Generally, organizations may receive sponsorship once per year, with some exceptions.
An organization may apply for a sponsorship with a minimum of $1,000 and a maximum of $25,000 per year. The average funding amount in 2023 was $2,600.
Submissions are reviewed every other month and decisions will be made within two weeks of each deadline. Deadlines are as follows for 2024:
