Interact for Health Awards $2 million to Greater Cincinnati Nonprofits

Oct 12, 2026

The funding goes to over forty local organizations working to address immediate, emerging, or unanticipated community needs.

CINCINNATI – Interact for Health has announced funding and technical support for more than forty organizations through a recent round of support designed to address current challenges facing the Greater Cincinnati nonprofit community.

Across our region, communities are navigating volatile conditions, sudden policy shifts, and rising demand for services. The organizations closest to this work are carrying more than ever, often with fewer resources and shorter timelines than the moment requires. Interact for Health’s most recent responsive funding offered three types of support: funding for critical services, funding for workplace well-being, and in-kind support for sustainability and capacity building.

“Nonprofits in our community are facing rising demand for services while navigating real uncertainty and funding disruptions. This funding is an investment in the organizations and vital services that keep our community going,” said Kate Schroder, President and CEO of Interact for Health.

The list of grantees awarded is as diverse as our region, with nonprofits large and small, serving Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Organizations that were awarded between $50,000-$100,000 include:
